HELLO.

i'm SICK and BORED so i decided to blog here haha. anw this is our proposal for the g2 carnival thing!SCREAM IS THE BEST!!!haha all three scream cells won lar.

· Ping pong ball game

Materials needed: Styrofoam bits, ping pong balls of different colours (preferably at least 2 of each colour available), cardboard box, blindfolds

Preparations: Place the Styrofoam bits and ping pong balls into the cardboard box and mix them together, making sure that most of the ping pong balls are well hidden amongst the Styrofoam bits.

How to play: Players will be blindfolded. They are to pick out using their hands as many ping pong balls as possible within a given time. At the end of the given time, organizers would count the number of matching pairs of ping pong balls (i.e. the number of pairs of ping pong balls with the same colour, eg. 2 red ping pong balls, 2 white ping pong balls etc.) to determine the prize the player will obtain (eg. 1 pair of ping pong balls with matching colours=sweets, 2 pairs=erasers etc.).

Alternatively, the colours of the ping pong balls can each represent a certain no. of points (eg. red ping pong ball=1 point, blue ping pong ball=2 points etc.)

HELLO FELLOW SCREAMERS! :D
hahah i think this is my first time blogging here.
(decided to make it more colourful xD )
i told elissa last sunday tt i'll come to blog but it's been SUCH a hectic week in school and my hmwrk's piling up like a mountain again! :S
and for most of e nights of this past week i've been falling asleep on my hmwrk and getting almost nth done! :/
SIGH.
pls pray for me for good time management!
will be praying for you all too coz i know many of us face e same hectic lives. x)

anw, i hv to say tt i'm really quite excited abt e new plans for cell!
arent you arent you? :)
hmm though i guess it'll take some time to work things out coz i'm sure it'll more or less affect our current weekend plans.
for me, i guess e new cell timing will mainly clash with my family gatherings and stuff (we usually hv it on saturdays rather than sundays).
hope my parents will understand, especially since they're pre-Christians.
like elissa said, we should all pray abt whatever tt's hindering this new plan and trust that God will take care of everything once we put Him first. :)
oh and of course, let's all pray abt this new plan too and that cell will improve in e weeks to come!
YAY i cant wait. :D

alright before i end, just want to thank elissa, small mel, and cheryl for coming up with this cool change! :)
as for e rest of us, i guess we can help alot by being supportive yup!
and of course, to pray for them too and encourage them in every way we can, whether big or small. :)

HMM WHY IS OUR BLOG SO DEAD=(

anyway.yay arent you all EXCITED to hear the new plans we have for cell?yes yes?

yep i know it's gonna be tough.and i'm sort of caught in the same situation too.no time no time no time!but i'm gonna pray abt it and hope i'll be able to balance.somehow.i'd like to encourage you all to pray abt it, and try your best to adjust your timetable in such a way that you will have time for cell, yet not be too tired out.i think when we put God first, everything will fall naturally into place=) i've had good news from grace that she'll be able to make it on alternate weeks!that's great!=) considering that at first she wasnt sure if she could attend at all..

yes so i'll be praying abt this new change.and i hope you all too.i really dun want cell to be a routine and boring and a place where no one can share effectively.if you ask the prev batches of scream, and other people who had rly close knitted cells, i think they'll be glad to tell you how much a supportive cell who you can share personal stuff with and can help you in your walk with God.heh at least it was like that with me grace deb.=) i think i grew a lot because of it.

yep i'll end here, hope to see more of you blogging soon!i'll be praying for you all and hope you all will be vv excited abt this new plan too!=)

btw, just a thought.do all of you know why we're called SCREAM?just to tell those who dont, and to remind those who know alr, it's Seeking Christ Radically Eternally And Meaningfully.

haha i realised suddenly that i havent blogged here before.oops.

i'm blogging cos our cell blog is going down the lonely road to a slow and sure death and its so DEAD.

so i am begging all of you to plspls blog(: yes

but i also have a more important purpose to this entry (ofcourse, i'm not quite so wuliao).

fellow o level-ers, we will make it thru this stressful year together okay? i will pray for you all and i hope that you'll have enough time to study and prepare and do really well ok!
and serene, i know you're busy with dramanight this week so jiayou! i'm behind you! teehee(:

secondly;
i just wanted to say that during my quiet time yesterday, which is the first time in quite a while that i've been doing it, i felt quite strongly and i think that He really wants me to learn to lean on Him to go thru this strssful period.
so i just wanted to say to all of you who are probably going thru school stress and all that i think sometimes He puts these's tough trying periods so that we learn to look to Him for the strength we need.
yepp cos i think, if right now i wasn't so stressed, i wld still force myself to just do it on my own and take everythign upon myself. but now, with things going crazy and busy, i guess i'm learning that there's a limit to what i can do as a mere human, and what He can do in me to help me thru.

i hope that made sense. yupp.
i just want to give you all some encouragement and food for thought cos i know everyone is really stressed right now.
maybe He's calling you to stop trying to be a hero and take everything into your own hands but instead to give it up to Him.
yeahh.

lets all be living testimonies of His faithfulness by letting His hand and strenght take over in our crazy lives (:

hello hello scream!

yay! im finally posting here on our cell blog. my very first post. how exciting. you all must attempt to post something too ok? be it prayers or thanksgiving or simply smth you would like the cell to know. eg. im changing my braces colour in a few weeks. any colours to reccomend? i was thinking purple and pink. haha. if you dont know the usename/password, just ask graceteh, the admisnitrator of this blog of me (: haha since im here i OBVIOUSLY know the usename and password right? oh gosh i think it's late so im feeling abit erm crappish.

ok to get down to the point of this post, it is a reminder that this sunday cell is NOT at replublic poly. i repeat, cell is NOT at republic poly. instead, we'll be having our first ever cell breakfast at tanglin mall's macdonalds! (: isnt that exciting? haha cell breakfast were quite fun in the pass. let's hope we enjoy ourselves too yeah? yup so pls bring your own money for breakfast. if you have any financial problems, you can call me and tell me. oh and very very importantly, please come with an EMPTY stomach. dont eat before that ok! *gives serene THE look (:* yes, i understand macs is fattening. MY weight is ALSO at stake but once in awhile, i guess it wont hurt right? plus if you eat before that, you'll just sit around and find that time will pass rather slowly. yup.

cell the FOLLOWING week, the 9th of april, should resume at RP. note that suern will be doing the worship and i'll be doing our so called icebreaker. oh an announcement! there is r-age berryjam on friday, the 7th of april. we are ALL strongly encouraged to attend it. so pls make an effort to come on down on the first of every mth. well at least come 3times in a yr ok? haha.

i hope the evangelism and all is coming along fine? any problems you can call elissa or me directly. if it's prayer, post it here so everyone can help keep you in prayer yeah?

its currently still in the construction stages so its quite bare and ugly and unglam and all
